Our founder, Tamara White, began collecting art in graduate school while researching the implications of incarceration. This impacted the direction of her collection.
Some of the first pieces she purchased, centered on justice, include work by Hank Willis Thomas, Titus Kaphar, and Andrea Bowers, amongst many others.
